Teen killed in crash between dirt bike and car — Larchmont Health news

HURLEY – A 17-year-old passenger on a dirt bike was killed when the bike and a 2015 Hyundai collided, State Police said. The victim was a passenger on the bike operated by an 18-year-old. Police did not release the gender of either individual. Troopers said the unregistered bike was traveling westbound on Main Street at the intersection of Schoolhouse Lane after 6:30 p.m. on October 23 when the operator attempted to pass the car. At the same time, the Hyundai was making a let turn onto Schoolhouse Lane resulting in the crash. Both people on the dirt bike were ejected and transported to HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston where the passenger was pronounced dead. State Police were assisted by the Hurley Fire Department. The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information related to the collision is asked to call the State Police Kingston Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-344-5300.
